Tuesday was forecast to be the wettest day, with continued thunderstorm potential expected across multiple regions of both regions.
Medical Alert
Health officials warned that there was an higher risk of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, particularly given the ongoing climate situation.
This caution comes after previous incidents where comparable situations led to major medical consequences in the region.
